Vajrasattva
The name of the mantra refers to the purity and indestructibility of conscience.
Essentially Vajra means the ultimate element of reality.
“Sattva” means pure, organized, and perfectly structured, in this sense it is used as immaculate purity.
The goal of practice with Vajrasattva is to merge with the principle of absolute purity. With this mantra, one can realize the pure and transparent knowledge of emptiness. One can experience a liberated and purified state of consciousness that has regained its primordial state.
The practice with the Vajrasattva mantra is meant to create the habits and consistency necessary to walk the spiritual path. The energy of the Vajrasattva Mantra can be dynamized at several levels of intensity. In achieving each level, it is required the guidance of a Teacher with deep knowledge and a lot of experience.
With the help of this mantra – which is also known as the Hundred Syllable Mantra – the brilliance and indestructible power of consciousness are awakened. In essence, the syllables of which the mantra is composed represent the action matrix of the hundred deities, or in other words the hundred aspects of consciousness in the Primordial state.
“just like a pure crystal, which,
– mixed with different minerals –
may appear in different colors,
the same can be manifested in the principle of speech
– through different sounds and words –
different qualities of Universal Consciousness.”

The effects of the Vajrasattva mantra can fall into four categories.
First of all – it purifies karmic imprints from the storage consciousness, from Alaya-vidnya. Therefore, the one who has received the empowerment and recites the mantra correctly and persistently frees himself from (self)destructive tendencies and undergoes beneficial changes.
Second – it plants the seeds of compassion in our hearts. Develops goodwill for everything and everyone, which will gradually be seen in interpersonal relationships.
Thirdly – amplifying the brightness of consciousness increases mental quality. The appearance of light reduces agitation and mental confusion. If the mind becomes clear – life becomes simpler.
Fourthly – it widens the spatiality of consciousness. As the perception of spatiality arises, so do the qualities of the enlightened mind. Such as vigilance, joy, potentiality, etc.
We can expect these effects if we create the causes of well-being, that is, we recite the mantra 21 times for at least 21 days. In this case, it removes and frees us from many unwanted influences.
The Vajrasattva mantra is considered the most powerful purification and protection mantra.
“From the Vajrasattva mantra radiates light,
inviting the Buddha of the ten directions,
and of the three timelines to come, as well as their sons…”
