MantraYana

Authentic mantra practice

MantraYana

Understanding the meaning of the name can show us the purpose of mantra practice. The first part of the term – Man, corresponds to the root of the term – Manas – from Sanskrit, which means mind. The term –Tra has several meanings. In this context, it is interpreted as protection or weaving. From the meaning of the term, it is understood that mantra is a power that orders and protects the mind. Yana means path leading to a goal. It refers to a set of methods of using the power of the mantra. Authentic mantra practice restructures and clears the mind so that it can access “noble” states of consciousness where it can know subtle aspects of reality.

Vajrasattva

The name of the mantra refers to the purity and indestructibility of conscience.

Essentially Vajra means the ultimate element of reality. “Sattva” means pure, organized, and perfectly structured, in this sense it is used as immaculate purity.

The goal of practice with Vajrasattva is to merge with the principle of absolute purity. With this mantra, one can realize the pure and transparent knowledge of emptiness. One can experience a liberated and purified state of consciousness that has regained its primordial state.

The practice with the Vajrasattva mantra is meant to create the habits and consistency necessary to walk the spiritual path. The energy of the Vajrasattva Mantra can be dynamized at several levels of intensity. In achieving each level, it is required the guidance of a Teacher with deep knowledge and a lot of experience.
With the help of this mantra – which is also known as the Hundred Syllable Mantra – the brilliance and indestructible power of consciousness are awakened. In essence, the syllables of which the mantra is composed represent the action matrix of the hundred deities, or in other words the hundred aspects of consciousness in the Primordial state.

Vajra Guru Mantra

This mantra is considered the basic mantra because it impregnates in our consciousness the premises of spiritual development. It is also considered the mantra that connects us to the consciousness of Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rimpoche.

Empowerment in the Vajra Guru mantra has three major effects. Firstly – it plants the seeds of compassion in our hearts, secondly – it amplifies mental clarity and brightness, and thirdly – it widens the vast spatiality of consciousness.

Practicing this mantra does not take much time, and gives noticeable results from the very beginning of the practice.

During the practice, I feel vigilance, verticality, presence, I felt the expansion of the Susuna Nadi. It helped me very much by reducing suffering and by eliminating, or, at least, by reducing my desires, which were the cause of my suffering.

It seems essential to me. I once had a special experience, after a few utterances I simply accessed another state of consciousness in which I no longer had thoughts, I no longer felt my body, I didn't even breathe, I was happy, blissful, and I had a smile on my face. it was as if I had arrived in a rocket, on another planet without gravity and without suffering.

I feel like space is simply being created in my head and around me. especially in the turbulent mornings when I start practicing after doing the preliminary practice, I feel how everything settles around me, I no longer feel the pressure of unresolved situations, problems, everything is settled, exactly as it should be. the effects on me were also seen externally when after practice I have a meeting at work and every time other people always tell me that their day was made better just by talking to me and hearing my voice.

During the Vajrasattva practice, I can feel my being realigning to its natural state, I feel like it's actually normal to feel upright, dignified and whole, I feel I lack nothing.
thanks to the Vajrasattva practice, a road and a path opened in my consciousness that can no longer be closed. something in me expanded and engulfed me and feeling engulfed, I can no longer give up that state. I felt that I was given the kind of help that will accompany me permanently and all this is happening thanks to the compassion of my teacher, and for all this I am deeply grateful.

Vajrasattva creates spatiality, freedom and courage. The most important experience I had, was a flash I felt throughout the body, just like a lightning. This practice helps to put myself in a vertical position every time I have the opportunity. I think this was the motor that started the change in my being noticed lately.

Authentic practice with mantras that restructures and clears the mind so that it can access noble states of consciousness

The stage of real self-knowledge requires the application of Mantra-yana, Yantra-yana and Darsa-yana practices. Passing through the stages of Mantrayana also involves the mastery of a mantra through which the practitioner can support the hygiene of consciousness. These ways of being aware of various aspects of reality can be mastered after the disciple goes through the Preliminary Practices program. This path begins with Vajrasattva Buddha. Receiving the empowerment in the Vajrasattva mantra, gives us the possibility that by repeating the mantra, each time we generate its specific spiritual energy and re-access the state of consciousness that we perceived in the presence of our Master. Practicing in this way also develops in us the qualities of the enlightened mind.

On November 24, 2022, we are waiting for you at a very special FREE online course,  in which we will learn about mantras and their power, spirituality. There will be discussions about  Vajrasattva and how it helps us to purify our relations, personal and family Karma, to ease our path and to help our loved ones who are no longer with us.
